Abstract (en)
The gripper loom with at least one insertion band (4) has guide teeth (20, 21) as a sliding support for the gripper which is equipped with a runner (10) in the head region. So that there is no damage to the band edges, the guide teeth according to the invention are so designed that they form the sliding surface for the gripper runner (10), but ensure that there is no contact with the edges of the guide bands. Because the band edges are protected, this reduces the frequency of the warp-yarn breaks which occur relatively often in hitherto existing gripper looms because of the rubbing of the warp yarns on the insertion band. A guide rail (25) between the band wheel and the shed, like the guide teeth (20, 21), engages only on the gripper runner (10) in a manner protective of the band edges. <IMAGE>

Die Greiferwebmaschine mit mindestens einem Eintragsband (4) weist Führungszähne (20, 21) als Gleitauflage für den Greifer auf, der im kopfbereich mit einer kufe (10) ausgestattet ist. Damit keine Beschädigung der Bandkanten entsteht, sind die erfindungsgemässen Führungszähne solcherart gestaltet, dass sie die Gleitfläche für die Greiferkufe (10) bilden, dass jedoch ein kontakt mit den Rändern der Führungsbänder unterbleibt. Dank der Schonung der Bandkanten reduziert sich die Häufigkeit der Kettfadenbrüche, die wegen Streifens der Kettfäden am Eintragsband bei bisherigen Greiferwebmaschinen ziemlich oft auftreten. Eine Führungsschiene (25) zwischen Bandrad und Webfach greift gleich wie die Führungszähne (20, 21) - die Bandkanten schonend - nur an der Greiferkufe (10) an. <IMAGE>
