[origin: WO9113005A1] At a point (2) where the packaging material is doubled and forms the tubular package flaps where there is one of the two transverse sealing seams, a tubular package has a tab to aid in opening this transverse sealing seam. This tab may be formed by the end (7) of a fold (6) in the package material projecting from the package casing surface, the edge of a layer of the package material in the doubled region itself or an adhesive label (15) secured to this layer, whereby this doubled region (2) in the transverse sealing seam is advantageously wrapped with the label (15) over the end (18) of the package and the label (15) is secured to a region of the outer casing lying outside the doubled region (2) by a releasable adhesive or other seal within the area where it projects beyond the free edge of the doubled region (2) of the transverse sealing seam.

Un emballage constitué par un sac en forme de tuyau présente, en un emplacement d'une zone de doublure du matériau d'emballage (2) formant les ailes de l'emballage, dans laquelle est prévu l'un des deux joints scellés transversaux dudit sac, une prise servant d'auxiliaire d'ouverture, pour la séparation de ce joint. Cette prise peut être formée par l'extrémité (7) d'un pli (6) ménagé dans le matériau d'emballage, s'étendant à partir de la surface de l'enveloppe dudit emballage, par le bord d'une couche de matériau d'emballage de la zone même de doublure, ou encore par une étiquette adhésive (15) liée à cette couche, cette zone de doublure (2) à joint scellé transversal étant avantageusement rabattue avec l'étiquette adhésive (15), sur l'extrémité de l'emballage (19), ladite étiquette (15) étant reliée, à l'intérieur de la zone où elle dépasse le bord libre de la zone de doublure à joints transversaux (2), à une zone de l'enveloppe se trouvant à l'extérieur de ladite zone de doublure (2), au moyen d'un collage ou d'un cachetage détachable.
