Abstract (en)
In accordance with the remote control method, sound waves are output as short and long remote control pulses (19 to 24) by a transmitter (1) and evaluated in accordance with their duration (t1, t2). So that disturbances of the evaluation due to beating with reflected remote control signals (5, 25, 46) are largely prevented, certain parameters, particularly at least one evaluating time (39 to 44), of the remote control method are adapted to changes in the duration (t1, t2) of the remote control pulses (19 to 24) output by the transmitter (1), which are possible due to beating. Furthermore, a gating-out is proposed which exhibits a variable gating-out period (t8, t9 and t13) which automatically adapts itself to a pause period (t11), changed by a reflection (25, 46), between two remote control pulses (54, 51').

Nach dem Fernsteuerverfahren werden von einem Sender (1) Schallwellen als kurze und lange Fernsteuerpulse (19 bis 24) abgegeben und entsprechend ihrer Dauer (t1, t2) ausgewertet. Um Störungen der Auswertung durch Überlagerung mit reflektierten Fernsteuersignalen (5, 25, 46) weitgehend zu vermeiden, werden bestimmte Parameter, insbesondere wenigstens ein Auswertezeitpunkt (39 bis 44), des Fernsteuerverfahrens an durch Überlagerung mögliche Veränderungen der Dauer (t1, t2) der vom Sender (1) abgegebenen Fernsteuerpulse (19 bis 24) angepaßt. Des weiteren wird eine Austastung vorgeschlagen, die eine variable Austastdauer (t8, t9, t13) aufweist, die sich automatisch an eine durch eine Reflexion (25, 46) veränderte Pausendauer (t11) zwischen zwei Fernsteuerpulsen (54, 51') anpaßt.
