[origin: EP0469311A1] The invention relates to a folding apparatus for rotary printing presses, which comprises two successively arranged formers, draw rollers and cutting cylinders for the two longitudinally-folded paper webs, as well as diverters, vane wheels and deliveries for the folded copies produced from the folded paper webs. The drawing and cutting devices are mounted between two frame pairs (12, 13), a second frame part (18) being arranged in the centre between the two streams of printed copies, on either side of which part are mounted, in a self-supporting manner, the guiding, deflecting and delivery devices. <IMAGE>
