The present invention relates to an alpine ski boot, comprising a lower shell part (1) and an upper (2; 14, 15) mounted pivotably on the lower shell part about a horizontal and transverse spindle. La présente invention concerne une chaussure de ski alpin, comportant un bas de coque (1) et une tige (2;14,15) montée pivotante sur le bas de coque, autour d'un axe horizontal et transversal. Cette chaussure est caractérisée en ce qu'elle comprend un élément (7) de rigidification de la tige qui est monté à pivotement, à son extrémité inférieure, sur l'arrière du bas de coque (1), autour d'un axe horizontal et transversal (8) situé en arrière de l'axe de pivotement (3) de la tige (2), et des moyens (12,13) pour assurer, en position de pratique du ski, une liaison amovible entre la partie supérieure de l'élément de rigidification (7) et la partie postérieure de la tige (2). <IMAGE>
