[origin: EP0470877A1] The device for spreading a fluid substance or the like, for example a bonding emulsion for bituminous coated materials, over the surface of a road, comprises, on a movable machine (1), at least one spreading boom (18) along which spreading is at least partially performed, the said boom (18) being associated with at least one ejection nozzle (31) as well as with a supply circuit (8) for the said nozzle (31), the said nozzle (31) being associated with means for controlling its flow (32) and for controlling its position (25) relative to the said machine (1), actuated simultaneously as a function of the displacement of the said movable machine (1) so that the said nozzle (31) performs a discharge via sequenced jet of the above-mentioned substance over the spreading surface; the machine comprising this device is of the road-finisher type. <IMAGE>
