[origin: EP0470921A1] Said system consists of a set of modular parts (1) which comprises a series of basic modular parts consisting of two longitudinal members (2, 3) connected by ties (4) equipped with means of longitudinal connection (6) at its ends, allowing the butt-joining of contiguous parts to form a longitudinal shoring, and with lateral joining means (8) allowing the connection of at least two longitudinal shorings laterally by means of modular ties, if appropriate in combination with adjustment means (22) comprising an adjustment part and an additional part making it possible for the shoring to assume the exact length, pivot means for the longitudinal shorings which centre the load along the axis of the shoring, and/or additional means (12) of a height corresponding to that of the basic modular parts and of a width corresponding to the separation of two laterally contiguous longitudinal shorings. <IMAGE>
