The invention relates to a cardboard folding carton, in particular for deep-frozen products, having a bottom (2), side walls (3) and a top (4). The bottom (2) and the side walls (3) are formed by erecting a blank and are joined to form a self-supporting lower carton part. According to the invention, the folding carton has a carton insert, produced from a carton blank, for the product being packed as well as an inlay (10) covering the filling opening of the carton insert. By means of spacer elements (8, 9), the carton insert is kept at a distance from the bottom (2) and from the side walls (3) of the lower carton part (1) in a way forming a hollow wall. The hollow space formed as a result is closed off at the top by rectangularly folded-off terminating tabs, formed onto the side walls (3) of the lower carton part. The inlay (10) and the top (4) form a hollow wall, which adjoins the hollow space between the carton insert and the lower carton part. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Faltschachtel aus Karton, insbesondere für tiefgefrorene Produkte, mit einem Boden (2), Seitenwänden (3) und einem Deckel (4). Der Boden (2) und die Seitenwände (3) sind durch Aufrichten eines Zuschnittes geformt und zu einem selbsttragenden Schachtelunterteil verbunden. Erfindungsgemäß weist die Faltschachtel einen aus einem Kartonzuschnitt gefertigten Schachteleinsatz für das Verpackungsgut sowie eine die Füllöffnung des Schachteleinsatzes abdeckende Einlage (10) auf. Der Schachteleinsatz ist von Distanzelementen (8, 9) mit hohlwandbildendem Abstand zum Boden (2) und zu den Seitenwänden (3) des Schachtelunterteiles (1) gehalten. Der dadurch gebildete Hohlraum ist durch rechtwinklig abgefaltete, an die Seitenwände (3) des Schachtelunterteiles angeformte Abschlußlaschen oberseitig abgeschlossen. Die Einlage (10) und der Deckel (4) bilden eine Hohlwand, die an den Hohlraum zwischen dem Schachteleinsatz und dem Schachtelunterteil angrenzt. <IMAGE>
