2. In order to provide a height compensating device, which is expedient when replacing wallpaper, for a flush-mounted rocker switch which is known from the prior art, which device ensures, even once height compensation has been carried out, on the one hand that reliable switching operation of the rocker switch continues and on the other hand permits a reduction in the operating force which is to be applied to the operating rocker and also allows the rocker movement to be shortened, it is proposed according to the invention, in essence, that the switch upper part (3) has two bearing points (16) which are integrally formed on one side and are used both for supporting the rocker of a switch lever (17), arranged as a single-sided lever, and for supporting the rocker of the operating rocker (6) which is likewise constructed as a single-sided lever and rests in a force-fitting manner on the switch lever (17), that a switch plunger (22) is fixed such that it can pivot, a switching tooth (26) of the switch plunger (22) engaging alternately with each rocker movement into whichever switching depression (27) is nearest of a switch rocker (12) which is supported as a two-armed lever, and that the operating rocker (6) has an adjusting screw (29) which interacts with a limiting stop (30) on the switch lever (17) in a force-fitting manner. <IMAGE>

2. Um für einen im Stand der Technik bekannten Tastwippschalter in Unterputzausführung eine beim Tapetenwechsel zweckmäßige Höhenausgleichsvorrichtung zu schaffen, die auch nach erfolgtem Höhenausgleich einerseits weiterhin eine sichere Schaltfunktion des Tastwippschalters gewährleistet und andererseits eine Verringerung der an der Betätigungswippe aufzuwendenen Betätigungskraft sowie eine Verkürzung des Tasthubs ermöglicht, ist erfindungsgemäß im wesentlichen vorgesehen, daß das Schalteroberteil (3) zwei einseitig angeformte Lagerstellen (16) aufweist, die sowohl der Wipplagerung eines als einseitiger Hebel angeordneten Schalthebels (17) als auch der Wipplagerung der ebenfalls als einseitiger Hebel ausgebildeten und kraftschlüssig auf dem Schalthebel (17) aufliegenden Betätigungswippe (6) dienen, daß ein Schaltstößel (22) schwenkbar festgelegt ist, wobei ein Schaltzahn (26) des Schaltstößels (22) bei jedem Tasthub in eine nächstliegende Schaltmulde (27) einer als zweiarmiger Hebel gelagerten Schaltwippe (12) wechselweise eingreift, und daß die Betätigungswippe (6) eine Stellschraube (29) aufweist, welche mit einem Begrenzungsanschlag (30) am Schalthebel (17) kraftschlüssig zusammenwirkt. <IMAGE>
