The invention relates to a dust- and/or water-tight joint for two metal sheets (1) along the bent edges (2) thereof by means of an inner clamping bar (5) and an outer clamping bar (6) in the radial or axial direction in silos, containers and/or pipes from 0.5-1.0 m diameter, the outer clamping bar (6) being provided with legs (3) on both sides. The object on which the invention is based is to ensure leaktightness of the joint without impairing its tensile strength. This is achieved according to the invention in that the seal (4) is arranged between the inner clamping bar (5) and the outer clamping bar (6). <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft eine staub- und/oder wasserdichte Verbindung von zwei Blechtafeln (1) an den Abkantungen (2) dieser Tafeln mittels einer Innenklemmleiste (5) und einer Außenklemmleiste (6) in radialer oder axialer Richtung bei Silos, Behältern und/oder Rohren ab 0,5 - 1,0 m Durchmesser, wobei die Außenklemmleiste (6) auf beiden Seiten mit Schenkeln (3) versehen ist. Ihr liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, die Dichtheit der Verbindung ohne Beeinträchtigung von deren Zugfestigkeit zu gewährleisten. Das wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch erreicht, daß die Abdichtung (4) zwischen der Innenklemmleiste (5) und der Außenklemmleiste (6) angeordnet ist. <IMAGE>
