Apparatus for filling the charging hole of the shaft (1) of a dry coke-cooling plant opposite the cooling shaft cover (6) with two sealing elements arranged in series in the direction of flow of the escaping gases. According to the invention, the inner sealing element consists of a gasket, forming a preliminary seal, between an all round flattened edge (14), which is fitted to the rim of the shaft (1), and an all round sealing body of greater thickness, fitted to the lower rim of the cover (6), while the outer sealing element consists of a soft-material gasket (12). In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the holder for the soft-material gasket (12) is adjustably fitted to the sealing body (9). <IMAGE>

Eine Vorrichtung zum Abdichten der Einfüllöffnung des Schachtes (1) einer Kokstrockenkühlanlage gegenüber dem Kühlschachtdeckel (6) mit zwei in Strömungsrichtung der austretenden Gase hintereinander angeordneten Dichtelementen. Erfindungsgemäß besteht das innere Dichtelement aus einer eine Vordichtung bildenden Abdichtung zwischen einer umlaufenden abgeflachten Schneide (14), die am Rand des Schachtes (1) angebracht ist und einem umlaufenden, am unteren Rand des Deckels (6) angebrachten verstärkt ausgebildeten Dichtkörper, während das äußere Dichtelement aus einer Weichstoffdichtung (12) besteht. Eine bevorzugte Ausführungsform der Erfindung sieht vor, daß die Halterung für die Weichstoffdichtung (12) verstellbar an dem Dichtkörper (9) angebracht ist. <IMAGE>
