Abstract (en)
In order to obtain a dimensionally accurate, first transverse fold in which the single sheets remain close together at the rear of the fold even in the case of tabloid products, transfer to the folding flaps is no longer effective from rotating cylinder to rotating cylinder but by a folding blade (9) moving linearly on the cylinder diameter to a set of folding flaps which run along at the same time on the circumference of the collecting cylinder. As a result, the cycloid which the tip of the folding blade describes during transfer to folding flaps which are mounted in the rotating cylinder is prevented, and thus the products, especially tabloid products, are also prevented from pulling apart or unhooking. After the product transfer, the set of folding flaps is taken over by a plurality of arms (16) which rotate about an axis (17). During the rotary movement, each arm can be moved back by a portion of its distance from the folding arm, so that a significant slowing-down of the product occurs here while it is still held in the flaps. Um bei einem massgenauen ersten Querfalz, bei welchen auch am Halbformat (Tabloid) Produkten, die einzelnen Bögen am Falzrücken eng beieinander bleiben zu erhalten, erfolgt die Uebergabe an die Falzklappen nicht mehr von rot. Zylinder zu rot. Zylinder sondern durch ein am Zylinderdurchmesser linear sich bewegendes Falzmesser (9) an ein am Sammelzylinderumfang mitlaufendes Falzklappenspiel (10). Hierdurch wird die Zykloide, welche die Falzmesserspitze beim Uebergeben an im rot. Zylinder gelagerte Falzklappen beschreibt verhindert, und damit auch das Auseinanderziehen oder Heraushäkeln speziell bei Halbformatprodukten. Das Falzklappenspiel wird nach der Produktübernahme von mehreren um eine Achse (17) sich drehenden Armen (16) übernommen. Während der Drehbewegung kann jeder Arm um einen Teil seines Abstandes vom Falzarm zurückbewegt werden, so dass hier eine deutlkiche Verlangsamung des Produktes eintritt, während es noch in den Klappen gehalten wird. Das so verlangsamte Produkt kann direkt an Transportgreifer (22) übergeben werden, ohne dass es aus den Klappen losgelassen oder durch Reibung abgebremst werden müsste. <IMAGE>
