Abstract (en)

[origin: WO9112047A1] An artificial tube to be inserted into a human organ is introduced into the organ after folded in a catheter, and released after carried to an intended position in the organ. Bendable resilient ring-like wire members (10) are each disposed at each of the both ends of the artificial tube (7). Annular connecting wire members (11) are bridged between the ring-like wire members (10). The annular connecting wire members (11) are clamped by intermediate ring-like wire members (12) each to be kept in a deformed approximate elliptic shape. The artificial tube (7) is folded by bending the ring-like wire members (10), intermediate ring-like members (12), and annular connecting wire members (11). Then, the folded tube (7) is put into the catheter. The tube (7) is released in an intended position in the blood vessel and restored to a cylindrical shape by the resilience of the ring-like wire members (10), intermediate ring-like wire members (12), and annular connecting wire members (11).
