[origin: EP0473025A1] The external gear of the internal geared pump is stationary and forms a closed inner chamber. The smaller internal gear with external toothing is mounted on a rotatably driven eccentric so that it is free to pivot. The eccentric (11) is mounted so that it is free to pivot on a journal (10) concentric with the pump axis (13) and fixed and supported in the casing from which it projects and is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the drive shaft (16) by means of a coupling. <IMAGE>
