[origin: US5090916A] The invention relates to a male connector for a telephone and/or data processing communications network. This connector has an insulating support (1), in which are embedded connecting terminals connected to lines of a connection cable (10). It also has a rigid elastic tongue (19) integral with the support (1) and inclined with respect thereto, permitting the locking of the male connector in the female connector, as a result of a shoulder (22) on said tongue. This connector is essentially characterized in that it also has a slide bolt (24) engaging beneath the tongue and connected to the cable (10), in order to release the tongue (19) when pulling takes place on the cable (10), when the male connector is inserted in the female connector.

L'invention concerne un connecteur mâle pour réseau de communication informatique et/ou téléphonique. Ce connecteur comporte un support isolant (1) dans lequel sont noyées des bornes de connexion reliées à des lignes d'un câble de connexion (10). Il comporte aussi une languette élastique rigide (19) solidaire du support (1) et inclinée par rapport à celui-ci, permettant le verrouillage du connecteur mâle dans le connecteur femelle, grâce à un épaulement (22) de cette languette. Ce connecteur est essentiellement caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend en outre une targette (24) s'engageant sous la languette et reliée au câble (10), pour libérer la languette (19), lors d'une traction sur le câble (10), lorsque le connecteur mâle est inséré dans le connecteur femelle (42). Application aux réseaux de communication, notamment au réseau numérique à intégration de service. <IMAGE>
