La présente invention concerne un couteau fermant perfectionné. Ce couteau comporte une lame (2) dont le talon (3) est monté pivotant sur une pièce intermédiaire (5) en matériau plastique ou composite, munie d'une lame-ressort (7) coopérant avec le talon (3) de la lame (2), et insérée puis fixée par collage dans un logement (6) prévu à l'une des extrémités d'un manche en bois (1). Ce couteau peut avoir de multiples applications, telles que le travail du bois ou la découpe d'objets divers. <IMAGE>
