Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0473934A1] In this vandalism-resistant push button unit, guide rings (4) are supported by a mounting plate (1) which is held at a distance (2) from covers, used as front plates, of indicating-reporting elements or modular wall elements of lift cars. The guide rings (4) rest with a first shoulder (5) against the mounting plate (1) and are connected to the mounting plate (1) by hold-back rings (7) inserted in first grooves (6). The stamped openings of the mounting plate (1) are dimensioned such that there is play (8) between the tapered diameter of the guide rings (4) and the mounting plate (1), as a result of which play the guide rings (4) can be aligned with the stamped openings of the front plates (3), the dimensions of the hold-back rings (7) being selected such that the play (8) is covered over in every case. Push buttons (13), whose ends (14) operate switches that are not shown, and which are inserted into the guide rings (4) slide along first and second guide surfaces (9; 11). Spring forces originating from the switch press the push button (13) so far in the opposing operation direction until a spring bracket (17) rests against the end (10) of the guide ring (4). In this position, a spherical surface (18) of the push button (13), together with a spherical surface (18) of the guide ring (4), forms a seam-free surface on the operating side. <IMAGE>
