Abstract (en)

A process for impregnating a mixture of granular or pulverulent solids with binders which are liquid or can be liquefied by heating is characterised in that a vacuum is generated in the mixing chamber during the mixing of the solids and the liquid binder is added to the moving mixing material under the vacuum. This process is expediently applied to the preparation of starting mixtures for the manufacture of electrodes or carbon brushes or for the manufacture of mixtures of hydraulic binders with aggregates.

Ein Verfahren zum Imprägnieren einer Mischung aus körnigen oder pulverförmigen Feststoffen mit flüssigen oder durch Erwärmen verflüssigbaren Bindemitteln ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß während des Mischens der Feststoffe im Mischraum ein Vakuum erzeugt und das flüssige Bindemittel unter Vakuum dem bewegten Mischgut zugegeben wird. Dieses Verfahren wird zweckmäßig zur Herstellung von Ausgangsgemischen für die Elektroden- oder Kohlebürstenherstellung oder zur Herstellung von Gemischen hydraulischer Bindemittel mit Zugschlagstoffen angewendet.
