Abstract (en)
In a clamping device for plate-like workpieces, in particular for stock-removing deformation by means of machine tools, it is proposed to arrange, between a smooth baseplate and the under-surface of the workpiece, suction-retaining blocks which, controllable preferably separately on both sides, generate a vacuum action such that thereby both the blocks are retained on the base surface and the workpiece is retained on the blocks, and it is possible by random distribution of the blocks to create corresponding free spaces for the machining. A lateral clamp-on element, which exerts a lateral clamping action on the workpiece by mechanical leverage, is likewise provided and is secured via its lower bearing part on the baseplate by vacuum action or mechanical fastening. <IMAGE>

Bei einer Spannvorrichtung für plattenartige Werkstücke insbesondere für die spanabhebende Verformung mittels Werkzeugmaschinen wird vorgeschlagen, zwischen einer glatten Grundplatte und der Unterfläche des Werkstücks Haltesaugblöcke anzuordnen, die beidseitig vorzugsweise getrennt ansteuerbar eine Unterdruckwirkung entfalten derart, daß hierdurch sowohl die Blöcke an der Grundfläche als auch das Werkstück an den Blöcken gehalten werden und es durch beliebige Verteilung der Blöcke möglich ist, für die Bearbeitung entsprechende Freiräume zu schaffen. Ein eine seitliche Einspannwirkung durch mechanische Hebelübersetzung auf das Werkstück ausübendes seitliches Anlege-Spannelement ist ebenfalls vorgesehen und mit seinem unteren Lagerteil durch Unterdruckwirkung oder durch mechanische Befestigung auf der Grundplatte gesichert. <IMAGE>
