Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0474967A1] This ski (1) consists of a core (2) and upper and lower covering layers (3 and 4). Grooves (6) are recessed in the core (2) of the ski (1) for a strip-type receiving part (10) in each case, into which grooves attachment screws (11) of a ski binding (14) can be inserted. Furthermore, a plastic container (7) which is open at the top is inserted in each groove (6). Seated on the receiving part (10) are spacer sleeves (12) which correspond to the attachment screws (11), project over the top side (1a) of the ski and serve for supporting a baseplate (15) for the ski binding (14). The purpose of the invention is to prevent relative movement between the elastic and high-strength components in the horizontal plane. According to the invention, the receiving part (10) is accommodated in a trough (9) with a base (9a) and with an upright peripheral wall (9b) made of elastic material. The receiving part (10) rests on the base (9a) of the trough (9) and engages with its periphery in a channel (9e) which extends on the inside wall (9d) of the trough (9). Seen in plan view, the receiving part (10) has two spaced-apart portions in which it deviates from the course of the outside wall (9c) of the trough (9). <IMAGE>
