[origin: EP0475109A1] In the internal-gear pump, the outer gear having internal toothing is arranged in a fixed manner. The smaller, inner gear having external toothing revolves on an eccentric driven in rotation and meshes with the toothing of the outer gear. The pump has a circular cylindrical inlet chamber (28) which is concentric with the outer gear, is partially covered by the inner gear (14) and leaves free only a limited, crescent-shaped inlet area (27). <IMAGE>
