[origin: EP0475138A1] An electrical connector arrangement is proposed, which consists essentially of an electrical plug contact part, having a connection region provided for the connection of an electrical lead and a contact region which connects thereto via a base and is provided for making contact with a mating plug contact part, as well as of a separate operating element, which is produced especially from shape-memory material and is constructed as a closed ring. For the purpose of creating an electrical connector arrangement whose operating element, held on the contact region, creates in its second functional position a connection between the electrical plug contact part and the associated mating plug contact part which is both positively locking and, at the same time, a force fit, there is at least partially a recess in the mating plug contact part and the contact tongues and the operating element are constructed and arranged with respect to one another such that the operating element engages partially into the recess in its second functional position. Furthermore, when an operating element consisting of shape-memory material is used, it is advantageous if said operating element has allocated to it at least one locking element in a manner which on the one hand hampers the operating process of the operating element, which process starts from the first functional position and is normally completed in the second functional position, and, on the other hand, allows release. <IMAGE>
