Abstract (en)
A means for protecting clothes on a clothesline (2) from precipitation has a retractable cover (5) which is preferably mounted to the same vertical support (2) as provided for supporting the clothesline. The cover (5) is adapted to have a high transparency to light and heat radiation and also includes drainage means (26) and wind-resistant means (35).
