Abstract (en)
The scattered-light system (7-9) and the ionisation system (12, 13) are arranged in the same plane on a common base plate (1). The measurement volumes of the scattered-light system and of the ionisation system are located on both sides of the central axis of the chamber. In addition, a temperature sensor can then be arranged on the central axis. As a result of suitable structural measures, it is achieved that despite the eccentric position of the measurement volumes of the scattered-light system and of the ionisation system the sensitivity of the fire detector remains constant largely independently of the incoming-flow direction of the air. <IMAGE>

Das Streulichtsystem (7-9) und das Ionisationssystem (12,13) sind in derselben Ebene auf einer gemeinsamen Grundplatte (1) angeordnet. Die Meßvolumina des Streulichtsystems und des Ionisationssystems liegen beidseits der Mittelachse der Kammer. In der Mittelachse kann dann zusätzlich ein Wärmefühler angeordnet werden. Durch geeignete konstruktive Maßnahmen läßt sich erreichen, daß die Ansprechempfindlichkeit des Brandmelders trotz der exzentrischen Lage der Meßvolumina des Streulichtsystems und des Ionisationssystems weitgehend unabhängig von der Anströmrichtung der Luft konstant bleibt. <IMAGE>
