[origin: EP0476183A2] In the relay, a spring support (12) and a mating contact element (11) are inserted into slots in a base body (1) from two opposite sides and are guided by connecting rails (11a, 12a) parallel along the outer walls to an end side. At the end side, the connecting elements are bent away inside pockets (22) of the housing cap (18) and emerge in the form of end sections having solder and plug connections (20, 21) at a predetermined insulating separation out of the outer walls of the relay. Inside the pockets (22), the connecting elements are additionally anchored by means of integrally formed attachment tabs (11d, 12d), these attachment tabs also lying in the inwardly offset plane of the connecting elements. In consequence, the solder and plug connections are arranged at a sufficient insulating separation from the side contour of the relay, so that high-density packing of the relays on a printed-circuit board is possible. <IMAGE>
