Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0476245A2] The invention relates to a process for moulding the most varied concrete products (24), in which the moulding space (20) of a mould (13) defined by mould core (14), base ring (21) and mantle (17) is filled with concrete material, which is compacted, and a top ring (43) is pressed at the top into the end of the moulding space, which top ring (43) moulds the end face of the concrete product (24). Before and/or during the pressing-in of the top ring (43), at least one opening (28) is formed in the moulding space (20), via which opening (28) the excess concrete during the pressing-in of the top ring (43) is displaced from the moulding space (20). This opening (28) is then closed again. The opening (28) is formed at the top end between the top ring (43) on the one hand and the mould core (14) or the mantle (17) on the other hand, and in fact by displacement of the mould core (14) relative to the mantle (17) with base ring (21) and concrete product (24) in such a way that the part forming the opening together with the top ring (43) lies deeper than the remaining part running flush at the top. After the top ring (43) is pressed into the predetermined length dimension of the concrete product (24), the axial relative displacement back again into the initial position takes place. <IMAGE>
