Abstract (en)

A method of separating cyclohexene from mixtures thereof with benzene and cyclohexane by conversion into cyclohexanol and cyclohexylcarboxylic acid ester, characterised in that mixtures of cyclohexene, benzene and cyclohexane are reacted with carboxylic acids and water at elevated temperature in the liquid phase and in the presence of solid strongly acidic catalysts.

Verfahren zur Abtrennung von Cyclohexen aus seinen Gemischen mit Benzol und Cyclohexan unter Umwandlung in Cyclohexanol und Cyclohexylcarbonsäureester, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man Gemische aus Cyclohexen, Benzol, und Cyclohexan in Gegenwart von festen starksauren Katalysatoren mit Carbonsäuren und Wasser bei erhöhter Temperatur in flüssiger Phase umsetzt.
