Um in einer Karde oder in einem Krempel den Abstand zwischen den Spitzen der Tambourgarnitur (6) und den Spitzen der Deckelgarnitur (24) veränderbar zu gestalten, liegen die Wanderdeckelsegmente (19) an beiden Stirnseiten (4) des Tambours je auf einem, auf der Tambourwelle (3) frei drehenden Scheibenrad auf, welches am Umfang einen Konus (16) aufweist, welcher mit gleicher Steigung auch am Wanderdeckel vorgesehen ist, so dass bei Verschiebung der Scheibenräder (17), in axialer Richtung der Tambourwelle, der vorgenannte Abstand zwischen den Garnituren veränderbar ist. <IMAGE>
