The invention relates to a protective helmet, in particular a helmet for motorcyclists. The helmet possesses a new opening and closing device, in which the chin-strap is guided on the shell of the helmet by means of two rails and can be pulled out forwards. When the chin-strap is open, the whole of the user's chin area is exposed, and the helmet can be easily removed. In the closed state, the padding of the chin-strap engages behind the wearer's chin and jaw area, so that the helmet fits securely. The helmet also possesses a two-phase ventilation system for slow and fast travel. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Schutzhelm, insbesondere einen Helm für Motorradfahrer. Der Helm besitzt eine neue Öffnungs- und Schließvorrichtung, bei der der Kinnbügel (2) mit Hilfe von zwei Schienen (5) an der Helmschale (1) geführt und nach vorne herausziehbar ist. Bei geöffnetem Kinnbügel (2) wird die ganze Kinnpartie des Benutzers freigegeben und der Helm kann leicht abgenommen werden. Im geschlossenen Zustand hintergreift die Polsterung des Kinnbügels (2) die Kinn- und Kieferpartie des Trägers, so daß der Helm sicher sitzt. Der Helm besitzt weiterhin ein Zwei-Phasen-Lüftungssystem für langsame und schnelle Fahrt. Zur besseren Luftführung ist weiter an der Helmrückseite eine spoilerartige Ausformung (33) mit einer Abrißkante (34) ausgebildet. Schließlich ist an der Unterseite des Kinnbügels (2) ein integrierter Windabweiser (36) vorgesehen. <IMAGE>
