Abstract (en)
In an optical cable consisting of basic units which contain optical fibres, the basic units being stranded around a central element to form a main unit, and the main units for their part being stranded around a core, it is provided that at least 6 optical fibres (1) are stranded around a carrier element (2) to form optical elements (3) - or optical conductors -, six optical conductors (3) are stranded around a buffer element (4) to form basic units (5), these basic units are stranded around a central element (6) to form main units (7), and, finally, the latter are stranded around a central element (10) to form a cable core (8) in a configuration of six pieces.

Bei einem optischen Kabel aus Grundbündeln, welche optische Fasern enthalten, wobei die Grundbündel um ein Zentralelement zu einem Hauptbündel verseilt sind und die Hauptbündel ihrerseits um einen Kern verseilt sind, ist vorgesehen, daß mindestens 6 optische Fasern (1) um ein Trägerelement (2) zu optischen Elementen (3) - oder optischen Adern - verseilt sind, daß sechs optische Adern (3) um ein Polsterelement (4) zu Grundbündeln (5) , daß diese Grundbündel um ein Zentralelement (6) zu Hauptbündeln (7), und daß letztere schließlich um ein Zentralelement (10) zur Kabelseele (8) in einer Konfiguration zu sechs Stück verseilt sind.
