In the knitwear take-down mechanism, equipped with gripper elements (14) movable through the comb gap of a flat knitting machine, the plane of the gripper elements (14) is directed perpendicularly to the beard planes of the knitting needles (13) mounted in the needle beds. The dimensions of the gripper elements are consequently no longer limited by the width of the comb gap, and the gripper elements (14) can be coupled to additional elements, such as a covering sinker (16). By means of the covering sinker (16), the orifice (14.2) of the gripper element (14) can be closed, and it is possible to form a yarn-receiving space (20), closable by the head (14.1) of the gripper element (14), and thereby achieve altogether a higher operating reliability of the knitwear take-down mechanism. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Bei der mit durch den Kammspalt einer Flachstrickmaschine hindurchbewegbaren Greifelementen (14) versehenen Gestrick-Abzugsvorrichtung ist die Ebene der Greifelemente (14) senkrecht zu den Hakenebenen der in den Nadelbetten gelagerten Stricknadeln (13) gerichtet. Dadurch sind die Abmessungen der Greifelemente nicht mehr durch die Breite des Kammspaltes begrenzt, und die Greifelemente (14) lassen sich mit Zusatzelementen, wie einer Deckplatine (16) koppeln. Mittels der Deckplatine (16) läßt sich die Öffnung (14.2) des Greifelementes (14) verschließen und läßt sich ein durch den Kopf (14.1) des Greifelementes (14) verschließbarer Fadenaufnahmeraum (20) bilden und dadurch insgesamt eine höhere Betriebssicherheit der Gestrick-Abzugsvorrichtung erreichen. <IMAGE>
