The invention relates to a twisting machine, in which a plurality of yarns (4, 6) are each drawn off from a run-off bobbin (17, 27) and are twisted at a common twisting point (7), thereby forming a yarn balloon (5). The two yarns (4, 6) can be braked by yarn brakes (8, 14). To improve the uniformity of the twist in the cord yarn (12), equal yarn lengths have to be twisted during each revolution of the cording spindle (1). According to the invention, it is proposed to measure the draw-off speed of the two yarns (4, 6) by means of sensors (34, 35) and to compare the measurement values. Differences which are detected can be transmitted to a regulating device, the actuator of which is, for example, the adjusting drive (9) of the inner yarn brake (8). <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Zwirnmaschine, bei der mehrere Fäden (4, 6) jeweils von einer Ablaufspule (17, 27) abgezogen und unter Bildung eines Fadenballons (5) in einem gemeinsamen Zwirnpunkt (7) verzwirnt werden. Beide Fäden (4, 6) sind von Fadenbremsen (8, 14) abbremsbar. Zur Verbesserung der Gleichmäßigkeit des Zwirns im Kordfaden (12) müssen gleiche Fadenlängen je Umdrehung der Kordierspindel (1) verzwirnt werden. Gemäß der Erfindung wird vorgeschlagen, die Abzugsgeschwindigkeit beider Fäden (4, 6) durch Sensoren (34, 35) zu messen und die Meßwerte zu vergleichen. Festgestellte Differenzen können einer Regeleinrichtung aufgegeben werden, deren Stellglied beispielsweise der Verstellantrieb (9) der Innenfadenbremse (8) ist. <IMAGE>
