[origin: EP0477849A1] Cooling arrangement for the wall of a fluidised-bed boiler furnace in a medial region of vertical cross-section having the general form of an inverted V of junction between lower portions in the form of an upturned truncated pyramid above two parallel sole plates (5, 6) and an upper portion of rectangular cross-section, having front (1) and rear (2) faces parallel to the ridge edge (11) of the inverted V and lateral faces (3, 4) perpendicular to this ridge edge, the said wall being fitted with heat-exchange tubes traversed by water or an emulsion of water and vapour, characterised in that the heat-exchange tubes (16, 18, 21, 22) are essentially horizontal and disposed in the side walls of the lower portions in the form of an upturned truncated pyramid in the continuation of the inverted V, and they emerge into tubes (17, 19, 23, 24) covering the lateral faces perpendicular to its ridge edge. <??>Possibility of effecting cooling by natural circulation. <IMAGE>
