Spark plug comprising a central electrode (5) and at least one earth electrode (4) defining between them a spark-forming gap (6), the end (8) of the central electrode (5) opposite the spark-forming gap having the shape of a rod carrying a part (9) for connection to an ignition circuit, characterised in that the connection part (9) made from a metal which is a good electrical conductor is force-fitted over the end rod (8) of the central electrode. <IMAGE>
