Abstract (en)
The road construction layer (8') is formed by deposition and compacting of a material (5') containing an inorganic filler such as aggregates and a binder, on a support (1'). A first liquid and preferably a supplementary quantity of binder are incorporated in a fraction of the material (5') intended to constitute a lower part (8'a) of the layer (8') deposited on the support (1'), before compacting thereof. If appropriate, a second liquid is sprayed onto the support (1') before the deposition of the material (5'). In the case of a material containing a (hydraulic) binder, a third liquid is sprayed over the material (5') during spreading over the support (1'). The binder may be incorporated at the same time as the first liquid, in the form of an emulsion or of a suspension. The method and the device according to the invention are applicable to the case of road layers consisting of materials bound either with bitumen or with (hydraulic) binders. <IMAGE>

La couche (8') de la chaussée routière est réalisée par dépôt et compactage d'un matériau (5') renfermant une charge minérale telle que des granulats et un liant, sur un support (1'). On incorpore un premier liquide et de préférence une quantité supplémentaire de liant à une fraction du matériau (5') destinée à constituer une partie inférieure (8'a) de la couche (8') déposée sur le support (1'), avant son compactage. On assure éventuellement le répandage d'un second liquide sur le support (1') avant le dépôt du matériau (5'). Dans le cas d'un matériau renfermant un liant hydraulique, on pulvérise un troisième liquide sur le matériau (5') en cours d'étalement sur le support (1'). Le liant peut être incorporé en même temps que le premier liquide, sous forme d'une émulsion ou d'une suspension. Le procédé et le dispositif suivant l'invention sont applicables au cas de couches de chaussée constituées par des matériaux liés soit par du bitume, soit par des liants hydrauliques. <IMAGE>
