Pneumatic nebuliser comprising, in particular, a gas-flow circuit (14, 2, 7), in which a liquid is entrained and then fragmented after lowering the pressure of the gas. In order to do this, the liquid travels along a capillary (8) terminated by a cone (22) which causes a uniform gas flow towards the narrow passage (7), which promotes the entrainment of the liquid. The capillary (8) is axially movable so as to regulate, with stability, the gas flow rate. <??>Aerosols of constant composition and having a high concentration of liquid are therefore obtained which can be used for determining the composition of these liquids by emission spectrometry. <IMAGE>

Nébuliseur pneumatique comprenant en particulier un circuit d'écoulement de gaz (14, 2, 7) dans lequel un liquide est entraîné puis fragmenté à la suite de l'abaissement de la pression du gaz. Le liquide parcourt pour cela un capillaire (8) terminé par un cône (22) qui provoque un écoulement régulier de gaz vers le passage étroit (7), ce qui favorise l'entraînement du liquide. Le capillaire (8) est mobile axialement de manière à régler avec stabilité le débit de gaz. On obtient donc des aérosols de composition constante et à forte concentration en liquide utilisables pour déterminer la composition de ces liquides par une spectrométrie d'émission. <IMAGE>
