[origin: EP0478461A1] The subject of the present invention is an electronic apparatus and process for monitoring and storing data concerning assemblies and sub-assemblies such as electronic equipment and cards, electrical circuits, mechanical equipment and devices, having available, for the component or the electronic circuits, an integrated or external source of electrical supply. The electronic apparatus comprises, in a known way, a central unit associated with at least one data storage memory, connections with the said assembly or sub-assembly and a clock. The said elements make up an electronic circuit (1) which is integrated onto the electronic assembly or sub-assembly itself, the said connections being produced in manufacture in a permanent, final way. The said electronic circuit (1) is linked, on the one hand, to various points (10) on the assembly or subassembly in question in order to pick off measurement values therefrom, and, on the other hand, to a connector (13) of the card which can be connected to an external terminal on request. <IMAGE>
