[origin: EP0478497A1] The static mixer with housing tube (2), mixing elements (11) and end connections has, between housing and mixing elements, an exchangeable plastic tube (3) and a supporting sealing ring (4) between end connections and housing, with a bearing surface (8) and an annular sealing surface (7) towards the plastic tube. Highly reactive components can be processed with high constancy and reproducibility therewith and the mixer can be rapidly cleaned and re-used. <IMAGE>
