Abstract (en)
The combing machine contains a plurality of combing heads (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, ...), each for the formation of a combing-machine band (K), and two drawing units (7, 8) or drawing-unit sections. The combing-machine bands (K) are fed respectively from some of the combing heads (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, ...) to each of these drawing units (7, 8) or drawing-unit sections. The drawn laps (S1, S2) delivered by the two drawing units (7, 8) or drawing-unit sections are laid on top of one another and then drawn in an additional drawing unit (11) of the combing machine. As a result of this additional draft, thicker wads can be fed to the combing heads (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, ...). Furthermore, it is possible to obtain at the exit of the combing machine a finer band which, if desired, can be fed directly to a spinning machine. <IMAGE>

Die Kämmaschine enthält mehrere Kämmköpfe (1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ...) zum Bilden je eines Kämmaschinenbänder (K) und zwei Streckwerke (7, 8) oder Streckwerkabschnitte. Jedem dieser Streckwerke (7,8) bzw. Streckwerkabschnitte werden die Kämmaschinenbänder(K) von jeweils einem Teil der Kämmköpfe (1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ...) zugeführt. Die von den beiden Streckwerken (7, 8) bzw. Streckwerkabschnitten abgegebenen Streckenvliese (S1, S2) werden aufeinandergelegt und dann in einem zusätzlichen Streckwerk (11) der Kämmaschine verstreckt. Dank diesem zusätzlichen Verzug kann man den Kämmköpfen (1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ...) dickere Watten zuführen. Ferner kann man am Ausgang der Kämmaschine ein feineres Band erhalten, das gewünschtenfalls direkt einer Spinnmaschine zugeführt werden kann. <IMAGE>
