In a frothing apparatus for evacuating the remaining air from containers (2) filled with a frothable liquid, a nozzle (12) for injecting a gaseous or liquid frothing medium into the containers (2) is provided above a conveying path (4) for the filled, but not yet closed, containers. The pressure of the frothing medium is regulated as a function of the degree of frothing. This frothing is recorded as an actual value by means of at least one measuring station (34, 35) and is compared with a desired value. From the difference between actual value and desired value, a control signal is produced to alter the pressure of the frothing medium to the control valve (17). <IMAGE>

Bei einer Aufschäumvorrichtung zum Verdrängen des Restluftvolumens aus mit einer aufschäumbaren Flüssigkeit gefüllten Behältern (2) ist über einer Förderstrecke (4) für die gefüllten, aber noch nicht geschlossenen Behälter eine Düse (12) zum Einspritzen eines gasförmigen oder flüssigen Aufschäummediums in die Behälter (2) vorgesehen. Der Druck des Aufschäummediums wird in Abhängigkeit vom Grad des Aufschäumens geregelt. Dieses Aufschäumen wird mittels wenigstens einer Meßstation (34,35) als Istwert erfaßt, und wird mit einem Sollwert verglichen. Aus der Abweichung zwischen Istwert und Sollwert wird ein Steuersignal zur Änderung des Druckes des Aufschäummediums an das Steuerventil (17) erzeugt. <IMAGE>
