The invention relates to a high-pressure discharge lamp having a rotationally symmetrical discharge vessel (19) of quartz glass, whose electrode system is fused into the bulb neck (20) by means of a molybdenum foil fusing-in technique. With the exception of the molybdenum sealing foils (24), all the metallic parts (22, 25, 26) of the electrode system which are fused into the bulb neck (20) are enveloped by profiled molybdenum foils (29, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37). This prevents the quartz glass sticking to the electrode shafts (22) and the current supply leads (26) when the sealing foils (24) are being fused in. The profiled molybdenum foils (29, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37) permit stress-free thermal expansion of the electrode shafts (22) and of the current supply leads (26), and also permit better alignment of the electrode system in the lamp bulb. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Hochdruckentladungslampe mit einem rotationssymmetrischen Entladungsgefäß (19) aus Quarzglas, deren Elektrodensystem mittels einer Molybdänfolieneinschmelzungstechnik im Kolbenhals (20) eingeschmolzen ist. Mit Ausnahme der Molybdändichtungsfolien (24) werden alle metallischen Teile (22, 25, 26) des Elektrodensystems, die im Kolbenhals (20) eingeschmolzen sind, von profilierten Molybdänfolien (29, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37) umhüllt. Dadurch wird verhindert, daß während der Einschmelzung der Dichtungsfolien (24) das Quarzglas an den Elektrodenschäften (22) und den Stromzuführungen (26) haften bleibt. Die profilierten Molybdänfolien (29, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37) ermöglichen eine spannungsfreie thermische Expansion der Elektrodenschäfte (22) und der Stromzuführungen (26) und erlauben auch eine bessere Ausrichtung des Elektrodensystems im Lampenkolben. <IMAGE>
