[origin: EP0479123A1] The present invention relates to a ski boot with a rigid lower shell (1) comprising a shaft (2) at least partially articulated on the latter, which shaft consists of a rear cover (4) and of a front cover (3). <??>The ski boot is characterised in that the front cover (3), which pivots (11) on the end (6) of the lower shell (1), is capable of a vertical deflection when the shaft (2) is open; this deflection is made possible by means of a connecting device (21) which determines its amplitude and which constitutes the connection and the low reference stop of said front cover (3), in particular when the latter closes the slot (5) for introduction of the foot into the boot under the action of an internal foot holding device (30), with which it is associated. <IMAGE>
