[origin: EP0479661A1] The invention relates to a sliding fastener for sachets or bags having a plastic closure consisting of two mating strips, comprising two lateral wings which define, together with an elongated central sole plate, two convergent passage lanes for the mating strips, this sole plate being supported in an overhanging manner by a central separation rib. According to the invention, the lateral wings (101, 102) of the sliding fastener (100) are connected together by two linking bridges (103, 104), one of which is integral with the separation rib (105), the flexibility of the said bridges permitting automatic positioning of the sliding fastener by separation of its lateral wings; the separation rib (105) extends beyond the linking bridge (103) in the median plane of the sliding fastener so as to reinforce the rigidity of the link between rib and sole plate; the guide facet (115) associated with the smaller of the two strips has an inclined ramp extending over the entire length of the elongated sole plate (108) so as to reinforce the rigidity of this sole plate.
