Abstract (en)
[origin: WO9015905A2] A construction system consisting of moulded bricks and light supporting frameworks is useful for constructing ecological building contructions, in particular with wide spans between supports. This construction system is suitable for industrial prefabrication of individually dimensioned wall elements made from hollow, load-bearing, sand-lime bricks which can be prestacked when dry by a CNC-controlled robot and assembled later either in a factory or on site by unskilled workers, for example handymen; wall sections measuring several square metres can be erected using a single lifting accessory. The bricks are then filled with reinforcements, fittings and concrete, plaster, lime, etc. In particular, internal walls can be fitted with heating and cooling pipes, and external walls with absorber pipes. Wall and foundation elements are used as radiant heating surfaces and/or storage masses. The light supporting frames consist of sheet metal stiffened along a plurality of axes and/or trellis work, in particular of machine-welded structural steel. The invention also concerns joining means forjoining the components, and devices for manufacturing them. The construction system utilizes ecological building materials in a manner which is time and labour saving and involves little material and financial outlay.
