This sub-group has general formula (I) wherein n is 1-20; R2 is an electron acceptor grouping; R3 is a C1-8alkyl radical, hydrogen, an aryl radical an R1 radical or R2; R4 represents a C1-8alkyl radical, hydrogen, an aryl radical, an R1 radical when R3 is not R2 or an R2 radical when R3 is not an R1 radical; and/or R1 is chosen from the group composed of alkyls, aryls and, if n = 1, silyls. Applications: non-linear optics.

La présente invention concerne une sous famille des composés organo siliciés de la demande de Brevet français N° 880514. Cette sous famille est caractérisée par la formule générale (I) où n est compris entre 1 et 20, R2 un groupement accepteur d'électrons, R3 un radical alkyle en C1-C8, l'hydrogène un radical aryle, un radical R1 ou R2, R4 représente un radical alkyle en C1-C8, l'hydrogène un radical aryle, un radical R1 quand R3 ne représente pas R2 ou un radical R2 quand R3 ne représente pas un radical R1 et/ou R1 est choisi dans le groupe constitué par les alcoyles, les aryles et dans le cas où n = 1 silyles. Application à l'optique non linéaire.
