A procedure for removing full bobbins (13) from a spinning machine and for supplying empty bobbin tubes to the spinning points of the spinning machine using a transport device (7) which is assigned an automatic device (5) for removing the full bobbins (13) and an automatic device (5) for supplying empty bobbin tubes (12). On the automatic device (5) for removal, in addition to full bobbins (13) empty bobbin tubes (12) are also removed by the transport device (7) and supplied to the subsequent spooling machine. The empty bobbin tubes (12) must therefore be taken out before reaching the spooling machine. A check is made as to whether the receptacles (11) approaching the device (5) for removal have full bobbins (13) or empty bobbin tubes (12) and, depending on this check, the device (5) is not actuated when empty bobbin tubes (12) are approaching. Use in ring spinning machines.

1. Verfahren zum Abtransportieren voller Spulen (13) von einer Spinnmaschine und zum Zuführen leerer Spulenhülsen zu den Spinnstellen der Spinnmaschine mit einer Transporteinrichtung (7), der eine automatische Einrichtung (5) zum Abnehmen der vollen Spulen (13) und eine automatische Einrichtung (5) zum Zuführen von leeren Spulenhülsen (12) zugeordnet ist. 2.1. Es kommt vor, daß an der automatischen Einrichtung (5) zum Abnehmen neben vollen Spulen (13) auch leere Spulenhülsen (12) von der Transporteinrichtung (7) abgenommen werden und der nachfolgenden Spulmaschine zugeführt werden. Vor der Spulmaschine müssen daher die leeren Spulenhülsen (12) aussortiert werden. 2.2. Es wird geprüft, ob die der Einrichtung (5) zum Abnehmen zulaufenden Aufnahmen (11) volle Spulen (13) oder leere Spulenhülsen (12) aufweisen, und abhängig von dieser Prüfung wird die Einrichtung (5) bei einem Zulaufen von leeren Spulenhülsen (12) nicht betätigt. 2.3. Verwendung bei Ringspinnmaschinen.
