Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0480784A2] The invention makes it possible to reuse a part of the heat energy accumulated by the gaseous effluents leaving a fluidised bed (10) for reheating the fluidised bed. Within the scope of its application to the thermal cleaning of metal articles, the plant according to the invention comprises an enclosure for post-combustion (20) of the gaseous effluents originating from the fluidised bed (10), placed within this same fluidised bed. This post-combustion enclosure (20) may be used in combination with a high-temperature heat exchanger (14) permitting the preheating of the effluents before their post-combustion. In this way a large proportion of the post-combustion energy is reused for reheating the fluidised bed (10) directly or indirectly. <IMAGE>
