This dispenser of paper towels with central unwinding is characterised in that the tray (3) is arranged around its central opening (3, 1) in the shape of a chimney (3, 2) rising up inside the body (1), the said chimney having the function of straightening the paper previously wound and crumpled during the unwinding inside the roll. <IMAGE>
