[origin: EP0481100A1] A clip for fastening grid-shaped fence pickets (1) consisting of horizontal (3) and vertical (4, 5) bars, in particular wire meshes, to a fastening flange (2), running parallel to the fencing panel and facing the fencing panel, of a fence post (1) possesses a central portion (7) which is held on the fastening flange (2) of the fence post (1) by means of clamping, and which has a guide (15), which is approximately C-shaped in cross-section and grips round the fastening flange (2) of the fence post (1), and arms (8, 9) integrally joined to the central portion (7) laterally on both sides. The arms (8, 9) have a bearing surface for the horizontal bars (3) of the grid-shaped fencing panel.
