A piston engine has two rows of cylinders arranged in a V-shape and a gear drive (18) extending from the crankshaft (19) to a drive shaft (25) connected to the clutch and to the camshafts (16, 17) and the liquid pumps for the engine's cooling water and lubricating oil (37). The gear drive (18) is so designed that the crankshaft (19), the camshafts (16, 17) and the liquid pumps (37) rotate in one direction of rotation, the output shaft (25) and the clutch in the other direction of rotation. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Ein Hubkolbenmotor besitzt zwei V-förmig angeordnete Zylinderreihen und einen von der Kurbelwelle (19) ausgehenden Rädertrieb (18) zu einer mit der Kupplung verbundenen Antriebswelle (25) sowie zu den Nockenwellen (16,17) und den Flüssigkeitspumpen für Kühlwasser und Schmieröl (37) des Motors. Der Rädertrieb (18) ist so gestaltet, daß die Kurbelwelle (19), die Nockenwellen (16,17) und Flüssigkeitspumpen (37) in der einen Drehrichtung, die Abtriebswelle (25) und die Kupplung in der anderen Drehrichtung umlaufen. <IMAGE>
